South Devon and Dartmoor foodies
We at the People’s Republic know just how popular local food is. It’s a pity that the South Devon and Dartmoor Food and Drink people didn’t, otherwise they might have been able to organise the event at Old Forde House, Newton Abbot, a bit better: too many people, too small signs, too little room, and too much rain. Which I think is our way of saying it was a success, I suppose. We even uncovered firms that we didn’t know about before.

job reminder
Hurry, hurry. If you’ve been suffering those Monday blues, shake yourself out of your stupour and quickly apply for these jobs, the closing date for which is today.
Be an ecologist of North Somerset Council - who could resist the lure of six CSACs, five SSSIs, two NNRs, 11 Nature Reserves and the Mendip Hills AONB?
Further afield, why not become a development manager for the Grassland Trust.
Remember the closing date’s today, so get your skates on. And remember we have more jobs, on the jobs page oddly enough, brought to you in conjunction with ethicaljobs.co.uk
