Event with appeal
If you’ve only put cox’s and pippin together in some kinda weird Lord of the Rings outtake, then think again and get yourself down to Cockington’s Apple Food Day on Sunday.
While you’re there check out the greensleeves, egremont russet and up to 200 more in the apple room (far cooler than any viper lounge, I’m sure).
And where there are apples there’s cider. The cider bar features Devon’s finest including granite ground, straw strained cider from the 400 plus years of the Farrants Farm orchard in Dunsford.
There’s loads more producers, loads more to eat, drink, dance to and do. Entry is £3 (kids go free), and there’s a free bus from Occombe Farm.
