Favourites for their story-telling exploits, Stone Soup return with its Twisted Tales series tonight (Wednesday, January 2) at The Forescue, Mutley Plain, Plymouth.
And you don’t just have to listen to stories, you can tell your own – there’s an open platform for budding storytellers, poets and acoustic musicians. It’s a perfect opportunity to break out of the Christmas mire and start the year as you mean to go on.
It’s £3 in, the doors open at 7.30pm and the entertainers strut their stuff from 8pm. No naive ears, please - over 16s only.

He even plonks his thoughts down in his myspace blog. Here’s an extract from his entry about the threatened closure of the Northcott Theatre, Exeter.
“Until we can bring the Regional Development Agency and the Arts Council alongside the 100 or so other bodies that spend taxpayers money and take decision that impact on our area under some form of democratic control, we will never control our own destiny either economically or culturally.
“In the meantime we have to campaign for the London based Arts Council to change its mind.”
Hear, hear!
